To create a more seamless online experience to its stakeholders, the Office of Alumni Relations (OAR)  with the technical assistance of the Santo Tomas e-Service Providers (STePS) launched the Thomasian Alumni Portal (TAP) on May 30, 2022 during the first day of the UST Career Fair. The newly-deployed portal is the merged two former operating websites of OAR namely, the Alumni Information System (AIS) and the Alumni Relations website.

The AIS has facilitated connection with the alumni through its content and services. It has become one one of OAR's main contact points during the onslaught of the pandemic where signed-up graduates can apply their alumni card and avail the yearbook delivery service. The Alumni Relations website was the window to OAR where the alumni can get the latest happenings and other services such as homecoming assistance, job search, alumni association formation, and Thomasian network listings. The main functions of these websites were incorporated in TAP including the data of the registered alumni accounts from the AIS.

"This time, the portal will provide you with more relevant and interesting features that would make you stay connected with the university," said OAR Director Asst. Prof. Fredeswindo R. Medina during the launching. The new website was designed to be mobile and desktop friendly with an easy access to register and log-in alumni accounts. Besides the online application of alumni cards and yearbooks, another feature was added called the "Schedule Visit Appointment". The said feature aims to accommodate alumni who prefer to process their alumni card and/or yearbook personally at the university. The appointment-based system is set to open soon.

Currently, alumni card applications and yearbook delivery service requests are put on hold this August due to the ongoing payment system upgrade. Once deployed, the alumni will enjoy shorter waiting time and hassle-free real-time payment confirmation for their transactions with the university.
